Dielectric filter

Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the dispersion in band characteristic caused by the variance of inter-stage combined electrodes, the occurrence of a short or open state of a junction part, and the variance in characteristic caused by the reflow of solder caused in its mounting state for a dielectric filter that is connected to plural coaxial dielectric resonators. SOLUTION: The inner conductors 19 and 20 are prepared in the through- holes 17 and 18 of a prismatic dielectric substrate, and the outer conductors 21 and 22 are provided on the side face that is parallel to both through-holes 17 and 18. The dielectric resonators 25 and 26 contain the short-circuit conductors 23 and 24 which short-circuit those conductors 19 to 22. Then the resonators 25 and 26 are joined together in plural pieces. A non-formation part 29 and a junction conductor 30 of the conductor 21 are provided on the joint surface of the resonator 25. At the same time, a non-formation part 31 of the conductor 22 having almost the same shape as the part 29 and is also opposite to the part 29 is provided on the joint surface of the resonator 26. Then an area secured between both parts 29 and 31 is filled with a resin adhesive containing the ceramics of a high dielectric constant.
