Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively recover the braking energy at the time of braking by disengaging a clutch device with an automatic clutch operating means to release an engine brake when recovering the braking energy at the time of braking. SOLUTION: A hydraulic pump motor 10 functions as a pump at the time of braking, a discharge quantity of pressure oil corresponding to the inclined face of a swash plate 32 is fed to the operating oil chamber 24 of an accumulator 8, the pressure oil is stored in the accumulator 8, and the braking energy is recovered. When the depression of a brake pedal 13 is detected by a brake switch 14, the selector valve 39 of the automatic operation system 42 of a clutch device is switched, and a clutch 2 is disengaged by the automatic operation system 42. When the braking energy is to be recovered, the connection between an engine 1 and a rear wheel drive shaft 5 side is cut off, the operation of an engine brake is released, and the energy corresponding to the braking energy of the engine brake is stored and recovered in the accumulator 8. A deterioration of exhaust gas performance and an increase of fuel consumption is prevented.
