Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the illuminance of a projection surface to a value proximate to a light distribution theoretical value and to obtain an excellent image. SOLUTION: A fluorescent lamp 26 is housed in a lamp case 25 and light outgoing from the lamp 26 is condensed by a cylindrical lens 27 and guided to the projection surface of a subject 5. Reflectors 28a to 28c reflecting the light from the lamp 26 and guiding it to the projection surface are arranged in the case 25, and a reflector 30 is arranged between the ends of two lamps 26. Thus, the illuminance of the periphery part of the projection surface is increased and the illuminance proximate to the light distribution theoretical value is obtained.
